“You want me to do what?”
“Get me hard.”
Hearing my sexy porn star neighbor wanted to hire me to be his fluffer was laughable. Until the day he offered me more than I made in a year. How difficult could it be? Stroke a man, get him hard, walk away, and cash my check.
Except it wasn’t as easy as that. Not only did I need to be on set, but I had to watch him… in action. Watch as he made love to his costar while the cameras rolled. Little did he know my lady parts furled with pent-up desire.
He unleashed a side of me I didn’t know existed. A side that made me do things I never thought I would. A side that had me wondering how I could be falling for a porn star.

I just so happened to run across Shae York’s promotion for Fluffer on Instagram and the premise really hooked me in. I knew I had to get my hands on this book, and believe me…it didn’t disappoint. This is Shae’s debut novel, and I have to say that everything was set up beautifully. The characters were compelling, the plot kept you wanting to know more, and the overall pace of the book wasn’t bad either.
“You’re fucking gorgeous when you’re angry. I bet you’re wet, Molly.” his lips grazed mine, and I wanted to slap him because he was right.”
Molly was a relatable character for me. I understood her hangups and worries over falling for Trent. Trent was the polar opposite of Molly. His job is way different from what he set out to do, but he’s made it work over the years. He’s instantly attracted to her so when he has some *ahem* issues at work, he decides to recruit her for the job as his fluffer. You can only imagine what Molly’s reaction was, but in the end, for various reasons, she said yes. Together, these characters are good; the chemistry, along with the passion, is there.
The overall plot of this book was well thought out and kept me entertained. It some angst thrown in with wondering if this couple could really end up together, but it wasn’t over the top crazy. Their relationship was so much more than I first thought it was going to be. Trent was a pleasant surprise for me. He was more than his job and he tried his best to show Molly that as well.
Fluffer is a quick read with relatable characters and a plot that will keep you involved until the end. I really enjoyed this book and look forward to more from Ms. York.
