My daddy warned me never to fall for a boy like Jace Jacobs…
The second I saw him walk through the door, I knew he was trouble.
A gorgeous rebel with a bad attitude and a huge chip on his shoulder.
My heart warned me. I didn’t listen. I saw something protective and good beneath the fierce, tough exterior.
I fell hard and fast.
He promised we’d be together forever, and then left me with a broken heart.
Now, ten years later, Jace Jacobs is standing at my door.
Sexier than he’s ever been.
Provocative and commanding.
Successful and powerful.
The man I always knew he would become.
But I promised myself I’d never lose my heart to him again.
Even time couldn’t dim our chemistry. One glance of his intense eyes, and I become weak. One brush of his hand, and he brings me to my knees.
Little do I know, Jace holds the key to everything I’ve lost and everything that threatens my future.
Now he will either save me, or he will break me all over again . . .
More of You
(Confessions of the Heart #1)
by A.L. Jackson
Amy is the queen of second chance romances! More of You is jam-packed with emotion and suspense and, at times, will leave you breathless. I’ve been a fan of Jackson’s for a long time, and I can honestly say her work just keeps getting better and better!
“Every time I looked at him, it twisted something deep inside me. My love for him was bigger-more important-than anything else in my small, little world.”
The characters themselves were amazingly well written. I connected easily to their background and loved how intense their chemistry was. Faith loved Jace from the start. Her love was such a pure and untouchable kind of love and it was deeply felt throughout the entire novel. Even when life got in the way and both of them grew up that love was shining so bright that nothing and no one could damper it. Jace came from the kind of background all girls wish to save those beautiful broken boys from, and the world had beaten him down so badly that he believed what the world saw in him. When Faith comes along she makes him want to be better…be someone worth saving; she was bright star in such a dark and lonely world. Together these two character were everything. Their relationship was so passionate and genuine. I absolutely loved them together.
The plot itself was suspenseful and entertaining. I was hooked from the start and enamored with this world that Jackson has created. The pace was perfect and I could see this story play out in my head easily. Faith and Jace moved apart and when the world threw them back together it was intense and beautiful in a chaotic love type of way. Overall, this was such an enjoyable read and a great start to a new series. I’m head over heels in love with these characters and I can’t wait to see where Amy takes us next!
