-Overview: There are many ways to capture a person’s love, but unwilling, full attainment is never the best option.
Life hasn’t been easy for 18 year old Reese Stanford. After a traumatic incident a year ago, she has a hard time trusting any guy. She finally allows herself to fall for the heart throb, Tate Justice, only to realize he too comes with his own set of issues.
Swearing off men, she meets a beach ‘god’ who will settle for no less than all of Reese. That is at least, until she learns a truth about Tate that changes the game entirely.
ATTAINMENT was a fast-paced drama with a great story-line. It left me reeling and the subject behind Reese’s traumatic incident pulled at my heart strings like no other. The first part of the book comes off sort of slow but believe me….it’s a mystery you aren’t going to want to put down once this book really gets going.
Reese is a likable heroine and the reader just can’t help but to want to see her grow and be happy in herself. She struggles and with what happened to her that awful night you understand why but at times she does seem overwhelming and scared of her own feelings. Don’t get me wrong, Reese is a strong girl who I think is a ultimate survivor and I truly like that in a main female character.
By mid-book I was wanting more…I was wanting answers…and I was wanting Reese to have them as well. When Reese finally opens her heart back up and chooses I was sort of having mixed feelings but come on. What would you do if you had two hot guys claiming to love you?!?!
