FALLEN CREST HIGH
(Fallen Crest #1)
Mason and Logan Kade are two brothers who did their own thing. They were rich and expected to attend her school, Fallen Crest Academy. They chose public school and now Samantha has to live with them. The problem is that she doesn’t care at all: about them, about her friends, about her cheating boyfriend, or even about her parent’s divorce. But maybe that’s a good thing. Maybe change is a good thing.
This book contains adult/mature young adult situations.
FALLEN CREST FAMILY
(Fallen Crest #2)
Samantha and Mason are together. Everyone knows it. Not everyone is dealing with it. While Mason’s ready to give them the middle finger, there’s one not going away. Her mother. Threats are issued. Ultimatums are given. Even blackmail is used, but only Samantha can put a stop to Analise. However, when a trauma from her past is triggered, she may not have the courage or strength to do what’s needed. If she doesn’t, Mason’s future could be destroyed.
FALLEN CREST PUBLIC
(Fallen Crest #3)
Sam’s first day at Fallen Crest Public doesn’t go well. Some girls want to be her. Some girls want to destroy her. And some just don’t like her. All in all, despite being protected by Mason and Logan, it’s still only the strong survive. Sam will not only have to survive, she needs to learn how to conquer too, but there’s another battle growing. Things are about to come to a disastrous end between the towns, Roussou and Fallen Crest. Sam’s other main dilemma? Keeping Mason and Logan from getting arrested or hospitalized.
Holy hell, these books are amazing! They are full of all kinds of drama and Tijan has a way of demanding your full attention! I couldn’t put these books down once I started and I devoured them within days! Not only are the plots fantastic and addicting, but the characters are pretty well developed too.
In FALLEN CREST HIGH we are introduced to Samantha (Sam). She’s strong and I loved the fact that she wasn’t star-struck by the Kade brothers like everyone else seemed to be. Mason and Logan are freakin’ sex on legs! Mason is the mysterious older brother that no one is able to get close to while Logan has the typical “life is a party and I don’t give a f*ck” persona. Both are badass and they know it. They are rich but refuse to go to the private school. Instead, they go to public and of course they are famous there as well as everywhere else they go. When Sam’s mom moves in with the Kade’s dad things get kinda crazy. There is judgement on both sides but once Mason and Logan realize Sam isn’t like the rest they accept her into their close-knit group. She becomes their family and they will do anything to protect her. Even from her own mother. She also becomes something more to Mason. They eventually fall into a relationship which, in the end, causes more drama between their families as well as their schools.
We see that drama play out in FALLEN CREST FAMILY. Sam’s mother will do anything to keep her and Mason apart (Believe me, this woman is all kinds of crazy), and because of all this drama with her mother, Sam starts having flashbacks to her past and to things that will shock you and cause you to hate her mom even more than you already do. In this book I feel as if we get to understand Sam better since we get glimpses into her past. We also get reassurance that Mason does truly love Sam and will do anything and everything to protect her. We also see more of Logan and realize that, just like Mason, he’d do anything to protect Sam. He’s fiercely protective of her and it makes readers wonder if his feelings are strictly “brotherly.” In FALLEN CREST HIGH Logan was, well, douchey but in this book we get a different side to him. He has feelings and can be hurt just as much as the next person. I really fell for Logan and I can’t wait to see more of him in the future.
FALLEN CREST PUBLIC is based around Sam starting public school with Mason and Logan. She’s also dealing with the fact Mason will be leaving for college soon. This book is the best out of the three because if you thought the drama was crazy in the first two then FCP is off the flippin’ charts! Sam enters into public with all the “in” girls hating her because Mason cut them off. She already had a target on her back because she was his girlfriend but add this in and the FCP kids are downright ruthless to Sam. I was so shocked in parts I had to start reading for a second just to take in a breath! I loved having Mason’s POV in this book. It helped me see things from his perspective and again, solidified the point that he’d do anything (and I mean anything) to protect Sam. Again, Logan makes me want more of him in this book. We see his loyalty play out and his protectiveness for Sam increase, which again…makes you wonder…
Overall, these books are better than amazing! They will keep you on your toes and make you fall head-over-heels in love with the Kade boys. I’m excited for FALLEN FOURTH DOWN! I seriously hope there isn’t a love triangle because I just don’t see Logan acting out on his feelings. I do hope that he finds a “good” girl. It would be hilarious and kind of refreshing to see him chase a girl that’s completely different from him.
