Badd Kitty by Jasinda Wilder
Badd Brothers #9
I’m such a sucker for the Badd brothers and have been reading them since Jasinda’s first release in the series, Badd Motherf*cker. These brothers are truly something else, and I have fallen hard for each and every one. Now, she gives us the Badd cousins and believe me when I say you’ll definitely be intrigued. This family and the beautiful chaos they represent have become a huge staple in my reading lately. When I’m not reading about the Badd brothers’ antics, I’m missing them.
“His name is Roman Badd, he’s the cousin of my bosses, and he’s as much of an arrogant jerk as he is pretty.”
The characters were well written and easily likable. I fell in love with Kitty because she gave as good as she got. She’s someone who knows herself and her worth and I found that oddly refreshing. Roman is all Badd, but worse if that’s possible. He’s like the more unpolished version of Bast, and at times, for me at least, he was just too much. He took arrogant and cocky to a whole new level, and I’ll be honest, it took a minute to get used to. With that said, Kitty handled him like a pro and I loved the fact that she took up for herself and never let him push her around. After a while, once I really saw Roman and not just the persona he puts off, I started to fall for him.
The plot itself was paced perfectly and kept me wanting more throughout all of it. I loved how Jasinda gave us more of the original Badd brothers (due to the plot and where she took us); it made the story more genuine in my eyes and it helped the story feel like home for me. Badd Kitty is just what I would expect from the Badd brothers series. Roman fit right in even if he’s a little more rough around the edges. I can’t wait to find out what happens with his brothers. Yes, people, he has brothers….two of them…and to top it all off they’re triplets! **ahh…swoon**
