Getting close to an arrogant bad boy like him is dangerous. Too bad it’s her only choice.
Kain Badd looks great on paper: rich, handsome, and he’s even a prince. But after spending a few minutes together, Sammy sees the real him—arrogant, possessive, and too hot for his own good. If she hadn’t agreed to help plan his sister’s wedding, she could have avoided him. Instead, she’s waking up in his bed after an unforgettable night she definitely wants to forget. But he won’t let her.
When Sammy thinks her life can’t get any crazier, the wedding is raided by the police, and she spends her first-ever night in jail. The irresistible Kain isn’t just bad in name—his family is connected to a dangerous underworld. Now she’s mixed up in a power struggle between his family’s empire and their rivals. She has no choice but to put herself back in this filthy prince’s extremely capable hands.
Sammy must trust Kain to keep her safe. She’s just not sure she can trust herself to resist temptation.

This is my first time to read anything by Nora Flite and I have to say…she’s quickly becoming a go-to favorite. This book is a quick read that has drama, plot-twists, and some oh so sexy steamy goodness to keep your mind occupied. Ms. Flite had me hooked from page one and I loved every minute.
The mafia-like world Nora created was detailed and it really keeps you interested in what might happen next. Even with its drama, there were some scenes that had me laughing outloud and that is what stole my heart the most…Nora Flite has the ability to make your heart race and laugh at the same time. It’s really quite a unique ability. The characters were even more amazingly detailed and had a depth to them that made you want to know more.
Sammy is a wedding dress maker who could quite possibly be a high-end designer, but instead she came back to her hometown so that she could take care of a sick mother. Her life isn’t perfect, but she has a good heart and a strong spirit. Kain is more than just the bad boy with a sexy smirk, even though he plays that part well and the connection he shares with Sammy is hot, hot, hot.
“He kissed without limits. His strength pressed into the porcelain, but it was his lust that held me still. Kain Badd was a man who consumed whatever he desired. I was ready to let him eat me whole.”
Even though this was a quick read for me and there was some pretty good banter between the characters…this book is not a light read. The more you delve into this world the deeper seated you become in it. The more you find out how everything connects. I really enjoyed this book and I’m already looking forward to the next installment in the series!
