Rating: 4.5 stars
I know I shouldn’t covet my sister’s ex-boyfriend.
She may have wanted nothing to do with his BDSM lifestyle, but I’m a born submissive. And the only place I want to be is under Simon’s command.
But he won’t go near me. Not with the memory of her so close.
That leaves me no choice. If he won’t touch me when he knows who I am, I’ll have to come to him in disguise.
He’s worth the risk. I’m meant to be his. Now I just have to prove it to him.
Being a Dominant cost me my first love, but I can’t deny who I am. I won’t. Control and power are everything, and the way I keep mine is by playing only with experienced subs. No exceptions.
Until I met her.
She wore a mask, but I knew the moment our lips touched she was meant to belong to me. Young, new to the world of BDSM—I knew training her would be a risk.
I didn’t know it would destroy me.

This is my first book by Stacey Lynn and I absolutely loved every minute of it. I hated to put this book down even for a second and when I had to the characters were at the forefront of my mind begging me to come back. I have fallen in love with this world Lynn has created and the characters are so well-thought out. Everything about this book captivated me.
Chloe is the type of woman I’d want to be when I grow up. She’s an entrepreneur who owns and runs her own clothing store, has parents who love her, and seems to have everything together and could want for nothing. Except for one tiny thing….she’s in love with her sister’s ex-boyfriend, and has been in love with him for years. When she finally works the nerve up to ask Simon something she’s been wanting to ask ever since her sister and he split almost 3 years ago things go south when Simon flat our rejects her.
Simon is a high school history teacher, a hockey coach, and a sexy dominant who enjoys BDSM. When he ruined things 3 years ago by pushing his (now ex) girlfriend into a lifestyle she couldn’t commit to it leaves a bad tasts in his mouth and a promise to himself that it would never happen again. So, when the ex-girlfriend’s younger sister walks up to him and asks for him to teach her to be a submissive he’s thrown for a loop and immediately turns the idea down no matter how turned on he is about it.
Once these characters finally get together it is purely amazing. I loved how real and relatable they are; both are just everyday people with not-so-everyday fantasies. I connected with both of them instantly. Their passion and their chemistry for each other was genuine and it definitely left me breathless. Stacey gave us the BDSM elements but she intertwined affection and pure fondness into each situation. None of it was too heavy; in fact I think it was the perfect balance between kink and passion. BDSM was not the main part of this story…it was simply used as an element that brought 2 people, who already had a fondess for each other, closer together.
“I’d never truly believed I could do what I just did. He hadn’t restrained me, but I’d been under his control all the same, and it was only one more lesson for me to learn. I didn’t need bindings and whips to submit. I only needed his touch and commands.
I loved everything about this book. I was hooked from the start and desperately wanted more when it ended. The characters..the storyline…everything was executed flawlessly and I really hope to get more from Stacey Lynn.
