Meet Liv Michaels
It may have been seven years, but I’d know him anywhere. Sure, he’s grown, filled out in all the right places, but his captivating blue eyes and cocky grin are exactly the way I remember. Even though I’d much rather forget.
Liv Michaels is almost there. She’s smart, determined and weeks away from landing the job she’s dreamed about for years. Time healed old wounds, even her broken heart from the devastation of being crushed by her first love.
Meet Vince Stone
Women love a fighter, especially a good one. Lucky for me, I’m damn good. But there’s one woman that isn’t interested. Not again, anyway.
Vince ‘The Invincible’ Stone is every woman’s fantasy…strong, sexy, confident and completely in control. Growing up surrounded by chaos, he’s learned never to get too attached. Love will drag you down. He adores women, treats them well, puts their own needs before his own…for the night anyway. With the biggest fight of his life coming up, his focus should be on training.
When fate brings Vince & Liv back together again, there’s no denying the chemistry is still there. But can Vince erase the old scars their past left behind? Or will Liv hurt him instead?
***Author’s note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the 18.

Vi Keeland quickly became a top author of mine when I read and reviewed WORTH THE FIGHT. It was amazing and I didn’t think I could ever, ever love another couple the way I did Nico & Elle, but again, Vi Keeland blew my mind with WORTH THE CHANCE! It’s told in a dual POV and I absolutely loved it!
The storyline is a second chance romance between Vince “The Invincible” Stone and Liv, who went to school and had a thing with Vince back in the day. If ya’ll have read WORTH THE FIGHT then ya’ll know that Vince is “Vinny” the badass teenager who desperately needed direction. I think I fell in love with Vi a little more when I realized who Vince was. In this book though he isn’t that little kid anymore…he’s all grown up & boy did he grow up into this sexy MMA fighter! *swoon* Everything about this storyline appealed to me. I loved that Elle & Nico made appearances and I loved that Liv & Vinny had history. It made this book even more real to me.
The characters were well-developed and likable. Even though Vinny could be an ass at times readers want to see him pull through because we see the way he is with Liv. He is fiercely protective of her and no one loves more than to see a man get all protective and neanderthal over a woman. *sigh* Vinny’s character is your typical MMA badass but his home life is a wreck. He’s a wreck if you want to get downright honest. Well, that is until Liv shows back up and he has something worth fighting for (no pun intended). His home life and his overall character is believable and it can even be relatable on some level. Liv’s character isn’t portrayed as some damsel in distress. She’s driven and smart. I love that she doesn’t take any crap from Vinny. She had her heart crushed once and she’s very determined not to let history repeat itself, but no matter how hard she tries to stay away from Vinny then guy keeps showing up and making her all hot & bothered. *stops to fan myself*
The chemistry between Liv & Vinny was incredible, but I expected that from Vi. She’s an amazing storyteller and readers can’t help but to get lost insider her worlds filled with steamy MMA fighters and even steamier scenes. This book was perfect. I loved it and it is one I’m definitely going to be reading again soon!
